This Privacy Policy applies to games and applications published by Hilforge, unless a specific product provides a separate privacy notice.
Our Privacy Principles
Hilforge aims to create games and applications that can be used without advertising, subscriptions, unnecessary tracking, or forced user accounts.
We collect as little user data as reasonably possible.
Data Collection and Sharing
Hilforge games and applications do not collect, access, sell, or share personal or sensitive user data unless this is clearly disclosed for a specific product or feature.
Our products do not require registration or a Hilforge user account unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
Hilforge products do not contain third-party advertising unless clearly stated in the relevant product.
Hilforge does not use advertising trackers, behavioural tracking, or third-party analytics services unless disclosed for a specific product.
Local Data
Game progress, high scores, saved games, preferences, settings, supporter status, and similar product data may be stored locally on the user’s device.
Locally stored data is not transmitted to Hilforge unless a particular product or feature clearly states otherwise.
In-App Purchases
Some Hilforge products may offer optional one-time purchases through an official application store, such as Google Play.
Purchases are processed by the relevant application store. Hilforge does not receive or store users’ full payment card details.
The application store may process purchase and transaction information to complete, verify, restore, refund, or otherwise manage purchases according to its own terms and privacy policies.
A Hilforge product may receive confirmation from the application store that a purchase has been completed so that purchased features can be activated.
User Accounts
Hilforge products generally do not require users to create a Hilforge account or sign in.
An account provided by an application store or operating-system provider may be required to download a product, receive updates, or complete an in-app purchase. Such accounts are managed by the relevant third party, not Hilforge.
If a future Hilforge product offers user accounts, online services, cloud storage, shared leaderboards, or similar features, the relevant data practices will be clearly disclosed.
Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored product data remains on the user’s device until the user clears the application’s storage, uses an available in-app deletion function, or uninstalls the application.
Users can usually delete locally stored data through their device’s application settings or by uninstalling the product.
Purchase records and other data managed by an application store are retained and handled according to that store’s own policies.
Data Security
Locally stored data is protected by the security controls of the user’s device and operating system.
Purchases and other services provided by third parties are protected and processed through those third parties’ systems.
Children’s Privacy
Hilforge products do not knowingly collect personal information from children unless this is clearly disclosed and appropriate protections are provided.
Products without accounts, communication features, analytics, or advertising do not directly collect personal information from users through Hilforge.
Third-Party Services
Hilforge products may use third-party platforms or software components for purposes such as:
application distribution
purchase processing
operating-system functions
development frameworks and libraries
For example, Android products may use Google Play for distribution and optional purchases.
Hilforge products may be made using the Godot Engine. The Godot Engine does not by itself provide Hilforge with users’ personal game data.
Any additional third-party services that collect or process user data will be disclosed where required.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Hilforge products, services, features, or data practices change.
The latest version will state its revision date.
A product-specific notice may be provided where a product uses features or data practices not adequately covered by this general Privacy Policy.
